Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya Group Hug and Pillowfort strategy led by Gluntch, the Bestower. The game plan revolves around accelerating the table with shared resources while constructing layers of defensive taxes that prevent opponents from attacking you. By utilizing pieces like Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety, Nils, Discipline Enforcer, and Solitary Confinement, the deck steers aggression away while quietly building a high life total and drawing cards. Because the list omits nonland tutors, it wins by naturally drawing into standalone alternate win conditions: winning on upkeep with Felidar Sovereign, recasting Approach of the Second Sun, or draining the table with Psychosis Crawler and Scrawling Crawler. While resilient against combat-focused strategies, the deck accelerates opposing combo decks and remains vulnerable to table-wide sweepers and targeted removal directed at its win conditions.
