Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Mono-Blue Control and Combo shell commanded by Eluge, the Shoreless Sea. It blends explosive fast mana, asymmetric land and draw stax, and format-ceiling interaction with compact, redundant win conditions. Early turns accelerate mana deployment through 0-to-1 CMC artifacts like Chrome Mox, Mana Vault, and Sol Ring, while establishing disruptive locks such as Harbinger of the Seas, Back to Basics, or Narset, Parter of Veils to choke opposing multi-color strategies. Eluge, the Shoreless Sea steadily floods lands and discounts instant and sorcery spells across every turn, converting efficient cantrips and interaction into free spells. The primary win route leverages Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal alongside positive mana rocks to generate infinite mana and storm, drawing the library with Sensei's Divining Top or Blue Sun's Zenith to win immediately with Thassa's Oracle or mill out the table. Robust free countermagic protects the decisive combo turn seamlessly.
