Deck overview

This Grixis Spellslinger deck is commanded by Fire Lord Azula, who turns combat phases into explosive spell-duplication turns by generating {R}{R} on attacks and copying any spell cast while attacking. The deck utilizes low-cost mana rocks, rituals, and cantrips to quickly develop mana velocity. Once Azula attacks, instant-speed card draw like Big Score and rituals like Seething Song double in output, generating massive resource surplus to storm off or assemble combo finishes. The primary win condition is the compact two-card infinite combo of Twinflame and Dualcaster Mage, which creates an infinite army of hasty tokens to eliminate all three opponents on Turn 4. In backup lines, engines like Storm-Kiln Artist, Birgi, God of Storytelling, and Archmage Emeritus generate substantial mana and card flow via Reiterate loops or lethal storm counts with Grapeshot and Brain Freeze. Supported by free countermagic and redirects, the deck executes decisively with zero response cycles.
