Deck overview

This is a tokens-and-spellslinger deck built around Feather, the Redeemed, using her recursion to reuse cheap cantrips and pump spells to generate an overwhelming board presence. The primary game plan is to chain targeting instants and sorceries to draw cards, create tokens (Young Pyromancer, Monastery Mentor, Akroan Crusader), and pump the team via Zada, Hedron Grinder or Mirrorwing Dragon copy effects. The deck wins through combat damage from a wide army, direct burn from Guttersnipe, or a massive Chandra's Ignition on a pumped creature. Grapeshot with storm provides an alternate burst finish. The commander is the engine - without her, the deck loses its card advantage loop, though she is not strictly required for the token swarm to function.
