Deck overview

This is a Jeskai legendary-Wizard spellslinger deck built around Gandalf, Party Guest. The plan is to flood the battlefield with cheap legendary Wizards, then use Gandalf's beginning-of-combat trigger to cast huge instants and sorceries for free. The deck wins by chaining extra turns and extra combats: Time Warp and Temporal Mastery create extra turns, Surge to Victory turns a Time Warp in the graveyard into a chain of extra turns off combat damage, and Response // Resurgence adds an extra combat. Ral, Crackling Wit provides a storm-emblem finish, while The Emperor of Palamecia can transform into a massive damage bomb. The deck is a value engine that overwhelms the table with free spells and repeated turns, but it needs to assemble its Wizard count and protect its commander.
