An ultra-low-curve mono-black sacrifice/recursion build (nonland average mana value under 1) helmed by Ashnod, Flesh Mechanist. The engine is simple and deep: attack with Ashnod, sacrifice a self-returning skeleton or zombie (Gutterbones, Sanitarium Skeleton, Tenacious Dead, Gravecrawler) to bank a tapped Powerstone, then spend that artifact mana on Ashnod's {5} activation, exiling a creature card from the graveyard to create a 3/3 artifact Zombie. A dense draw suite - Skullclamp, Cryptbreaker, Dockside Chef, Vampiric Rites, Witch's Cauldron - keeps the fodder loop fueled, while combat and drain close games: Phyrexian Dreadnought, The Last Ride, the Vorpal Sword "lose the game" trigger on an unblockable Hot Soup creature, Nested Shambler + Tarrian's Soulcleaver, and table-wide pings from Bloodchief Ascension, Serrated Scorpion, and Warlock Class. There are no infinite combos; this is a grindy, redundant attrition machine that wins through inevitability rather than speed.
