Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered mono-black control and combo list helmed by Tinybones, Trinket Thief. The strategy revolves around early symmetric discard engines such as Bottomless Pit, Necrogen Mists, and Oppression to strip opponents of resources while breaking parity through Tinybones, Trinket Thief's end-step card draw and Waste Not. Dense fast mana allows the deck to establish its stax pieces on Turns 1 to 2. Once the table is drained of cards and interaction, the deck transitions into its primary win condition: Professor Onyx combined with Chain of Smog, which drains the entire table of life in an infinite loop. Backup paths include stealing opposing boards with Tergrid, God of Fright, chaining spells via Bolas's Citadel, or finishing hellbent opponents with Tinybones, Trinket Thief's activated ability and Torment of Hailfire.
