Deck overview

This is an Esper equipment-voltron deck with a heavy Assassin subtheme built around Ratonhnhake ton. The commander is hexproof and unblockable until it first deals damage, making it an ideal carrier for the deck's large Equipment package. Each combat hit creates a 1/1 Assassin token and re-attaches an Equipment from the graveyard, generating both board presence and recursion. The primary kill is a single 21+ commander-damage hit converted into a game win by Ramses, Assassin Lord, with Vorpal Sword as a secondary one-shot line. The 99 packs a dense equipment-tutor and draw shell - Sram, Senior Edificer, Puresteel Paladin, Stonehewer Giant, Armored Skyhunter - plus free-attach effects in Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Forge Anew to bypass clunky equip costs.
