Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Spellslinger Storm combo deck built around Codie, Ravenous Codex and the Prepare mechanic. The primary game plan focuses on deploying multi-color mana producers like Bloom Tender and Faeburrow Elder alongside Codie to prepare your team and cast high-impact instant or sorcery spells. When cast, Codie duplicates these prepared spells, allowing the deck to rapidly generate massive amounts of mana through doubled rituals like Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song and massive card advantage through doubled spells like Emeritus of Ideation // Ancestral Recall. Untap enablers such as Chakram Retriever and Jeskai Ascendancy untap mana dorks and Codie with each spell cast, creating a self-sustaining storm engine. Once the entire library is accessed, the deck closes the game immediately on Turn 5 using a massive Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate or an overwhelming board of Fractal tokens from Deekah, Fractal Theorist, giving opponents zero response cycles once the storm turn starts.
