Deck overview

This mono-white control deck utilizes Eight-and-a-Half-Tails at the helm to manipulate colors and grant protection to key permanents. Built with a strong retro aesthetic, the deck features classic defensive tools such as Circles of Protection, creature Wards, and nostalgic damage-prevention spells like Healing Salve, Samite Healer, and Reverse Damage. The strategy aims to establish a resilient pillowfort through pieces like Island Sanctuary and Damping Field while slowing down opponents with sweepers such as Wrath of God and Armageddon. Victory is achieved through slow, evasive combat damage dealt by Serra Angel, Personal Incarnation, and smaller utility creatures made unblockable through Eight-and-a-Half-Tails' color-granting ability. However, the complete absence of dedicated card-draw engines and tutors leaves the deck susceptible to running out of resources against modern, high-velocity multiplayer pods.
