Toph Artifacts by perryjamail

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Naya deck wins by turning lands into hasty attackers. Toph, the First Metalbender makes your nontoken artifacts into lands and earthbends 2 at each end step, putting +1/+1 counters on 0/0 land creatures. You ramp with Azusa, Exploration, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove and Birds of Paradise, then flood the board with landfall payoffs like Avenger of Zendikar, Rampaging Baloths, Field of the Dead and Felidar Retreat. Ashaya, Soul of the Wild is the hidden commander, turning creatures into lands to enable Titania and Zuran Orb loops. Most wins come from overwhelming combat with extra combats from Moraug, Fury of Akoum and Bumi, Unleashed, with Valakut, Spitfire Lagac and Tannuk burn as backup.
