Kadena Morphs by user3121026

Format: Commander

Commander: Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer is a Sultai face-down value deck. The primary plan is to deploy morph, disguise, and manifest permanents for cheap, use Kadena's cost discount and draw trigger to bury opponents in cards, then turn those 2/2s into an army behind lords like Ixidor, Reality Sculptor and Secret Plans. Secondary paths are manifest-dread engines such as Abhorrent Oculus, Ugin's Mastery, and Valgavoth's Onslaught that flood the board, plus a fragile Yedora/Ashnod's Altar recursion loop for repeatable removal and recursion. Ixidor, Reality Sculptor acts as the hidden commander, converting face-down utility creatures into a coherent attacking force. The deck wins almost every game by combat, grinding out 120 damage once its value engine is established.
