Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck uses Tidus, Yuna's Guardian to turn +1/+1 counters into sustained card draw, counter proliferation, and decisive combat steps. In the opening turns, the deck deploys low-cost ramp and counter producers such as Biophagus, Bristly Bill, Spine Sower, and Delighted Halfling. Casting Tidus on Turn 3 or 4 activates the Cheer ability upon combat damage, drawing cards and proliferating existing counters each turn cycle. Standalone engines like Danny Pink, Fathom Mage, and The Great Henge quickly create insurmountable card advantage. By Turn 5, the deck establishes an overwhelming board presence, converting massive stats into unblockable lethal combat through Herald of Secret Streams, Abzan Falconer, or one-sided sweeps like Damning Verdict.
