Deck overview

This deck is an Esper draw-drain combo-control strategy led by Queza, Augur of Agonies. The deck converts card draw into life gain and direct opponent life loss. In the early game, it establishes mana rocks and develops steady card advantage engines such as Teferi's Ageless Insight, Necrodominance, and Talion, the Kindly Lord. It controls the board with efficient spot removal, sweepers like Farewell, and cheap countermagic. The primary win condition is a deterministic two-card infinite combo between Queza and Drogskol Reaver, which chains card draws and life gain until all opponents lose their life totals. Alternatively, the deck uses massive burst-draw spells like Peer into the Abyss or wheel effects combined with Psychosis Crawler, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, or Notion Thief to eliminate the table in a single decisive turn.
