Deck overview

This Izzet Spellslinger deck leverages Vivi Ornitier as a hybrid mana generator and group-slug burn engine. By casting inexpensive noncreature spells, Vivi accumulates +1/+1 counters and damages every opponent simultaneously. Vivi's {0} activation converts that built-up power into a massive burst of blue and red mana, fueling chained cantrips, pump spells, and Magecraft multipliers like Veyran, Voice of Duality, Ashling, Flame Dancer, and Guttersnipe. The deck can also close out games via large damage spells like Crackle with Power or through an infinite storm loop using Hullbreaker Horror, Sol Ring, and Ornithopter. Supported by a rich suite of countermagic, protection auras, and spot bounce, the deck achieves usable assembly on Turn 4, presents a must-answer damage burst on Turn 5, and reliably eliminates all three opponents on Turn 6 while giving the table only one response cycle.
