Deck overview

This deck is a four-color big-mana strategy led by Nissa, Leyline Tamer. It leverages an exceptionally dense suite of two-mana artifacts and ramp creatures to accelerate into its seven-mana commander by Turn 4. Once Nissa enters the battlefield, playing lands triggers her powerful Landfall ability to draw cards and reveal the top creature of the library directly into play. The creature package is packed with devastating high-mana threats including Void Winnower, Blightsteel Colossus, Archon of Cruelty, and Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Topdeck filters such as Scroll Rack, Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Brainsurge allow smooth staging of these threats from hand to the top of the library. Instant-speed land triggers from fetchlands and bounce lands enable Nissa to trigger on opponents' turns, quickly creating an overwhelming army that locks out opposing actions and closes the game through overwhelming combat damage by Turn 6.
