Deck overview

This is a lean Orzhov stax/control reanimator deck built around Squall, SeeD Mercenary, whose combat triggers - double strike on a lone attacker and recursion of a mana value 3 or less permanent on connect - make him a value engine in the command zone. The deck's actual plan, however, lives entirely in the 99: a low-curve shell of stax pieces (Deafening Silence, Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria) and fast mana buys time while a deep tutor suite assembles the Leonin Relic-Warder + reanimation-aura infinite death loop, paid off by drain effects like Susurian Voidborn, The Meathook Massacre, and Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER. Squall provides a resilient combat fallback - attacking alone recurs a permanent each connect - and Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel's transform emblem turns every death into a ping. The deck is fast, redundant, and heavily tutored.
