Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Orzhov legendary-matters strategy commanded by Ardbert, Warrior of Darkness. It curves out with efficient, low-mana legendary creatures such as Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful, Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff, and Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim. Once Ardbert enters the battlefield, casting white and black spells places +1/+1 counters on your entire legendary team while granting them vigilance and menace. This creates massive, evasive threats that attack aggressively while remaining ready on defense. Card advantage engines like Tymna the Weaver, Search for Dagger, and Warrior's Resolve maintain card flow through combat. Meanwhile, hatebears such as Drana and Linvala and Kunoros, Hound of Athreos restrict opposing strategies. The deck defends its board with an extensive package of cheap protection spells like Dawn's Truce and Boromir, Warden of the Tower. It closes games by delivering overwhelming combat damage, using Odric, Master Tactician or flying and menace to bypass blockers.
