Commander: Deadpool, Trading Card

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos "copy swarm" deck that turns one good combat step into an entire table of threats. Deadpool, Trading Card serves as a cheap, fat copy target - a 5/3 for three whose real job is to be duplicated by the deck's thirteen token-copy effects, from Delina, Wild Mage and Flamerush Rider to Mirror March, Twinflame, and Helm of the Host. The crown jewel is The Master, Multiplied: his static ability stops myriad tokens from being exiled, so Blade of Selves-style attacks leave behind a permanent, doubling army. Death triggers from Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Mayhem Devil, and Garna, Bloodfist of Keld convert every dead copy into life loss, while Kardur, Doomscourge and the Impetus auras force opponents to kill each other. Spiteful Visions plus the Wheel of Fortune half of Naktamun Lorespinner // Wheel of Fortune provides a draw-and-drain engine, and Full Throttle closes games with extra combats once the board has doubled past critical mass.
