Commander: Rivaz of the Claw

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Dragon reanimator deck helmed by Rivaz of the Claw, built to cheat the mana curve on big flying Dragons through three overlapping engines: classic reanimation spells, the commander's graveyard-casting ability, and haste-granting enablers like Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded and Zirilan of the Claw. The primary win is overwhelming combat damage from a swarm of 4/4-7/7 flying Dragons, accelerated by Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas ETB pings, Molten Echoes doubling every Dragon trigger, and Great Train Heist chaining extra combat steps. Secondary lines include Living Death/Patriarch's Bidding mass reanimation blowouts and Utvara Hellkite/Lathliss, Dragon Queen token generation. The deck is a midrange value pile that trades early interaction for explosive, redundant Dragon turns.
