My Best Friend KONA and I Are Going To Space 🚀🪐🐕 by DynoMike32

Format: Commander

Commander: Kona, Rescue Beastie

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kona, Rescue Beastie is a mono-green cheat-into-play deck built to turn a tapped commander into a huge, early board. The deck ramps hard with one-mana dorks, puts Kona on the battlefield on turn three, then uses his Survival trigger to drop Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant or another high-power permanent. Backup outlets-Elvish Piper, Norwood Priestess, Eladamri, Korvecdal, Smuggler's Surprise, and Sledge-Class Seedship-keep the plan alive if Kona is answered. Once a high-power board exists, Overwhelming Stampede, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, or Tyvar, the Pummeler turns it into a one-shot attack against all opponents. The deck has no countermagic and little recursion, so it relies on early tempo and overwhelming power rather than recovery.
