Deck overview

This Sultai deck is an aggressive Voltron and spell-theft strategy led by Kotis, the Fangkeeper. It leverages a dense suite of 1–2 CMC mana ramp to cast Kotis ahead of curve on Turn 3. The deck then suits up Kotis with unblockable Auras, high-impact Equipment, and +1/+1 counters to push through combat damage. Whenever Kotis hits an opponent, it exiles cards from their library equal to the damage dealt and casts any nonland spells with mana value X or less for free. Kotis's built-in Indestructible keyword protects it against conventional destroy spells and sweepers, while dedicated Equipment provides Hexproof, Shroud, and Ward. The deck wins by stacking commander damage to eliminate opponents one by one on Turns 6 through 8, snowballing its advantage with stolen spells and doubled triggers from Felix Five-Boots and Roaming Throne. However, the deck runs virtually no native reactive interaction, making it reliant on stolen cards to disrupt opposing game plans.
