Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Enchantress Reanimator strategy piloted by Anikthea, Hand of Erebos. The game plan revolves around rapidly stocking the graveyard with powerful enchantments via cheap self-mill and direct tutors like Entomb and Unmarked Grave. On Turn 4, Anikthea is deployed to reanimate high-value targets as 3/3 Zombie enchantment creature tokens, immediately establishing card draw, mana multiplication, or removal. On Turn 5, attacking with Anikthea reanimates a second piece—such as True Conviction, Doubling Season, or Thoughtrender Lamia—creating an evasive, menace-backed army that exerts overwhelming combat pressure and asymmetric disruption. The deck transitions into a rapid finish on Turn 7 by multiplying tokens and connecting for lethal combat damage, shielded by premiere defensive spells including Teferi's Protection, Clever Concealment, and Sterling Grove. Its resilient structure recovers smoothly by hardcasting enchantment threats or recasting Anikthea to continuously harvest the graveyard.
