Deck overview

This is a Selesnya go-wide token swarm deck built around Bast, Panther Goddess. The game plan is to hit three creatures quickly, then attack with myriad creatures so that token copies enter during the attack step, inflating the X for Bast's pump. The deck wins primarily through combat: Cathars' Crusade, Beastmaster Ascension, Jazal Goldmane, and Akroma's Will turn a wide board into a lethal overrun. It also carries a compact infinite-mana line with Devoted Druid and Swift Reconfiguration, a non-standard win in Halo Fountain, and a powerful snowball engine in Conclave Evangelist. Bast is a force multiplier rather than a mandatory engine; the token producers and anthems in the 99 allow the deck to keep functioning even if she is answered.
