Deck overview

This deck is a four-color cascade engine commanded by Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder. The strategy accelerates mana in the early turns, equips or attacks with Yidris to trigger his combat damage ability, and chains high-cost spells into cascading value during the second main phase. By turning every spell cast from hand into multiple free spells, the deck rapidly fills the battlefield with massive creatures and triggers punishing burn effects from Keeper of Secrets and Flaming Tyrannosaurus. Even when Yidris is removed, independent top-end engines like Maelstrom Wanderer, Apex Devastator, and Etali, Primal Conqueror allow the deck to maintain heavy pressure without losing momentum. While the deck relies on landing combat damage and lacks dedicated stax locks, its dense card velocity and board presence close games quickly around turns 7 to 8.
