Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue spellslinger combo-control strategy led by Namor the Sub-Mariner. Namor turns every noncreature blue spell into a squad of 1/1 Merfolk tokens, rapidly scaling his own power and creating a wide board presence. The deck uses this token generation to cast expensive convoke draw spells like Harmonized Crescendo and Transcendent Message for little to no mana, while controlling the table with a dense suite of free and efficient counterspells. The primary route to victory uses an infinite untap loop with Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal, generating infinite Merfolk and infinite mana to draw the entire library and win via Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or Laboratory Maniac. A redundant backup combo of Naru Meha, Master Wizard and Ghostly Flicker ensures the deck can close out games even if the commander or artifact pieces are disrupted.
