Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue draw-go control strategy commanded by Katara, Waterbending Master. The game plan revolves around casting instant-speed cantrips, removal, and counterspells during opponents' turns to rapidly accumulate experience counters. Once charged, Katara attacks each turn to draw large bursts of cards and sculpt a dominant hand. The deck translates this card advantage into victory through scaling combat damage with Wizard Class, lockouts with Hullbreaker Horror, or table-wide clearing with an overloaded Cyclonic Rift. A dense suite of one-mana protection spells and countermagic shields key permanents during execution. While the deck possesses immense card flow and responsive interaction, its reliance on combat attacks and mono-blue removal leaves it vulnerable to resolve-first noncreature permanents and aggressive go-wide boards.
