Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Elf tribal strategy built around Lathril, Blade of the Elves. The primary plan accelerates in the early turns with efficient mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and Priest of Titania, casting Lathril on turn 3. On turn 4, Lathril attacks through blockers using innate menace to spawn Elf Warrior tokens. By turn 5, the deck leverages scaling mana engines like Elvish Archdruid and Circle of Dreams Druid to trigger overwhelming win conditions. These include overrun attacks via Ezuri, Renegade Leader and Beastmaster Ascension, or tapping 10 Elves with Lathril to drain 10 life from every opponent. The list backs its creature swarm with burst draw from Beast Whisperer and Toski, Bearer of Secrets, along with defensive options like Heroic Intervention. Even if Lathril is removed, the deck retains independent overrun lines to close out games.
