Deck overview

This mono-green deck is commanded by Captain Kathryn Janeway, blending classic green landfall acceleration with +1/+1 counter and explore synergies. The core plan revolves around accelerating into the commander by Turn 3 or 4, utilizing her static additional land play and explore triggers on creature entries to smooth draws, thin the deck, and steadily grow the board. While the list eschews infinite combos, fast mana, and dedicated stax pieces, it builds commanding board presence through exponential token generators like Scute Swarm and formidable stat doublers such as Railway Brawler and Dr. Joseph M'Benga. Evasion is primarily granted through trample enablers like Dominion Supervisor, allowing massive green beaters to overwhelm opposing defenses over a two-turn combat window. The deck exhibits resilient recovery thanks to abundant land drops and alternate card-flow permanents that play directly from the library or graveyard.
