Deck overview

Ghoulcaller Gisa leads a mono-black Zombie deck that converts expendable creatures into large numbers of 2/2 Zombies. The deck develops with Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Mind Stone, and tribal cost reduction, then uses Ghoulcaller Gisa, Grave Titan, Army of the Damned, or Josu Vess, Lich Knight to build a wide board. Death Baron, Lord of the Accursed, Undead Warchief, and Liliana's Mastery turn that board into a serious combat threat. Sacrifice payoffs such as Undead Augur, Midnight Reaper, Open the Graves, and Vengeful Dead provide value during exchanges. The deck has reasonable creature removal and several recursion effects, but limited tutoring, no stack interaction, little protection, and no compact win condition. Its ordinary plan becomes threatening around turn 8 and usually needs several combat turns to finish, making it a fair tribal midrange deck rather than a fast combo or lock deck.
