Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Equipment Voltron strategy built around The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster. It leverages low-cost mana rocks and cost reducers to cast Thor on Turn 2 or Turn 3. Thor acts as both a draw engine and a value blink outlet, triggering a card draw whenever an Equipment enters the battlefield and blinking an artifact or creature on each attack. The deck uses equip-cost reducers such as Sigarda's Aid, Puresteel Paladin, and Forge Anew to bypass heavy equip payments. It suits up Thor with protective and offensive Equipment like Commander's Plate, Sword of Feast and Famine, and Mjölnir, Storm Hammer to eliminate opponents through commander damage. An efficient suite of 0-to-1 CMC counterspells and phasing spells protects the board from sweepers, while Displacer Kitten and Urza, Lord High Artificer provide high-synergy value backups.
