Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Dimir Reanimator list centered on Araumi of the Dead Tide. Its primary win condition resolves an early Hoarding Broodlord via low-cost reanimation spells like Reanimate or Animate Dead. Broodlord convokes Saw in Half, creating two token copies that search for Sacrifice and Peer into the Abyss. Casting Peer into the Abyss draws half the library, which funds Skirge Familiar and fuels a lethal Exsanguinate or Gray Merchant of Asphodel drain for a same-turn table finish around Turn 4. If the combo is delayed, Araumi of the Dead Tide provides an overwhelming attrition engine by granting encore to massive threats such as Archon of Cruelty, Kokusho, the Evening Star, and Massacre Wurm, generating triple enters-the-battlefield triggers that decimate opposing life totals and boards.
