Deck overview

This Simic midrange deck centers on Jackal, Genius Geneticist, turning creature casting into a compounding value and board-swarming engine. By matching creature mana values to Jackal's current power, every cast creature creates a non-legendary token copy while increasing Jackal's power for subsequent turns. The deck features flexible counter manipulation through cards like Bioshift, O'aka, Traveling Merchant, and The Ozolith to tune Jackal's power to match whatever creature is in hand. Backed by a dense ramp package and potent draw engines like Terrasymbiosis and Rhystic Study, the deck accelerates rapidly into overwhelming token multipliers such as Adrix and Nev, Twincasters and Doubling Season. Massive threats including Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Koma, World-Eater, and scaling Hydras create lethal combat boards that close out games over two decisive swings.
