Halana and Falthis by ayaxsfs

Format: Commander

Commander: Halana, Kessig Ranger and Falthis, Shadowcat Familiar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari deathtouch control deck built around the partner pair; there is no hidden commander. Falthis gives both commanders menace and deathtouch, while Halana turns every creature you cast into a {2} 'deal damage equal to power' trigger, making even tiny deathtouchers one-shot creature removal. The secondary plan is poison: Fynn, Virulent Silencer, and Triumph of the Hordes convert deathtouch combat damage into fast poison kills. Equipment and backgrounds like Hero's Blade, Raised by Giants, and Crystalline Armor turn the commanders into big trampling beaters. Vivien and a small recursion package support flash, value, and rebuilding after creature wipes.
