Deck overview

Blech, Loafing Pest is a Golgari life-gain and token deck. Its primary plan is to assemble Sanguine Bond with Exquisite Blood; after that, any incidental life-gain trigger becomes an infinite drain that ends the game. Professor Dellian Fel acts as a hidden commander, providing card draw and an emblem that functions as a second Sanguine Bond, and Dina, Soul Steeper offers an additional life-loss payoff. The fallback path is a swarm of Pests and Insects made large by Blech, Blex, and The Earth Crystal, then finished through Blossoming Bogbeast trample. Blech is a support lord rather than the engine; the deck can still execute its combo and grind without ever casting the commander.
