Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk heads a Boros Dwarf-tribal deck that turns every Dwarf entering into Treasure and every artifact token into a power boost for his kin. The primary plan is to flood the board with Dwarves and Equipment, use Treasure as both ramp and pump, and finish with a huge Shared Animosity/An Unexpected Party combat step. Secondary paths are Commander-damage voltron via Machinist's Arsenal/Bearded Axe and swarm finishes from At the Door/Devastating Onslaught. The commander is single-faced and has no hidden commander; he functions as an engine and finisher rather than a combo piece. The deck is combat-focused and has no infinite combo, so interaction and timing are important.
