Deck overview

This deck is a Boros artifact aristocrats and group-slug strategy helmed by Ragost, Deft Gastronaut. Ragost turns all artifacts you control into Foods, grants them a life-gaining sacrifice ability, and taps to deal 3 direct damage to each opponent while untapping whenever you gain life. The deck floods the board with cheap artifacts, Clues, Foods, and Treasures using token engines like Academy Manufactor, Mouser Foundry, and Servo Schematic. Redundant pingers like Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, and Weftstalker Ardent turn every entering permanent into table-wide damage, while Ragost repeatedly flings Foods to close the game. Card velocity comes from sacrifice triggers and cycling artifacts, supported by artifact recursion from Scrap Trawler and Myr Retriever. While the deck generates high damage and life totals, it relies on low-toughness creatures and carries minimal instant-speed protection against board wipes.
