Deck overview

This mono-white deck celebrates Gideon Jura through a dedicated Planeswalker and soldier aggro shell led by Kytheon, Hero of Akros // Gideon, Battle-Forged. The strategy establishes early board presence with low-mana creatures to flip Kytheon into a planeswalker by Turn 4. From there, it layers multiple incarnations of Gideon alongside token producers like Oath of Gideon and Anointed Procession. On Turn 6, the deck applies severe combat pressure using decisive anthems like True Conviction and multi-planeswalker animations. While thematic cards such as Gideon's Triumph and Deploy the Gatewatch limit reactive speed and card draw, the density of indestructible planeswalker-creatures provides resilient board presence against standard damage wipes.
