Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai midrange combat and burn deck led by the partner commanders Kratos, Stoic Father and Atreus, Impulsive Son. The strategy revolves around attacking with God creatures to accumulate experience counters on yourself as the player. Kratos distributes +1/+1 counters across your board each end step, while Atreus taps to draw large quantities of cards and burn all opponents simultaneously. Because experience counters remain on the player even if commanders leave the battlefield, the deck's card advantage and damage scaling are inherently resilient to removal. As the counter count grows, the deck transitions into lethal damage through key amplifiers such as All Will Be One, Herald of Secret Streams, and Purphoros, God of the Forge. It can also execute a clean two-card infinite combat loop using Aurelia, the Warleader and Helm of the Host. Supported by a robust suite of protective spells and interaction, the deck maintains steady pressure and card flow through the mid-to-late game.
