Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain tribal deck helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, built around the discard-and-connive axis. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of Villain creatures, use the commander's combat trigger to give a Villain menace and connive, and repeatedly discard land cards to trigger Doom's life-loss ability. The deck generates incremental value through connive (draw then discard), token production from cards like Madame Hydra and Ultron, Unlimited, and recursion via Moonstone, Harsh Mistress and Containment Construct. Wins come from grinding opponents down with Doom's ping, combat damage from evasive Villains, and occasional big plays from Abomination, World Ravager or Tri-Sentinel, Act of Vengeance. The deck lacks fast combo lines and relies on sustained value accumulation over a longer game.
