Deck overview

This Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver deck is an optimized competitive EDH (cEDH) Aristocrats combo deck designed to execute fast, protected, and redundant infinite win lines. The primary strategy focuses on recurring Gravecrawler from the graveyard with Phyrexian Altar and draining the entire table using Blood Artist, The Meathook Massacre, or Sephiroth. Fuelled by premier fast mana like Dark Ritual, Chrome Mox, and Mana Vault, the deck consistently threatens game wins by Turn 3. It boasts deep redundancy through backup combos including Painter's Servant with Grindstone and Warren Soultrader with Forsaken Miner. A robust countermagic suite featuring Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Flusterstorm shields combo turns, while stax creatures like Opposition Agent and Orcish Bowmasters disrupt opposing fast strategies. Massive card draw from Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, and Rhystic Study ensures relentless momentum and resilient recovery.
