Deck overview

This is a Golgari Spider tribal deck helmed by Shelob, Child of Ungoliant, built around a combat-centric value engine. The primary game plan is to deploy spiders, use Shelob's deathtouch and ward to dominate combat, and turn every creature that dies to a spider into a Food token copy - generating both board presence and a mana/life resource. The deck leans heavily on token doublers (Doubling Season, Parallel Lives) and tribal anthems (Coat of Arms, Vanquisher's Banner) to overwhelm opponents. Finishers include Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, and Finale of Devastation for massive trample or infect swings. Mass reanimation spells like Bloodline Bidding and Patriarch's Bidding provide board rebuilds, while the commander's own token generation creates inevitability in long games.
