Deck overview

This Abzan toughness-matters deck turns high-toughness creatures into attackers and card draw. Commander Felothar the Steadfast provides the core static effect, lets defenders attack, and sacrifices a high-toughness creature, ideally a 0-power wall, to draw cards. Redundant enablers (Doran, Assault Formation, Bedrock Tortoise, Huatli, Baldin) keep the plan working without the commander. No true hidden commander is built in; Doran, the Siege Tower is the iconic backup. Defender mana dorks generate large mana while Seedborn Muse and Drumbellower multiply activations. Finishing options are a combat alpha with Baldin or Towering Titan, a one-opponent life-swing via Tree of Perdition and Astarion, and a Sword of the Paruns mana-dork loop for infinite mana.
