Deck overview

This is a white-black political "pillowfort-plus-counters" deck helmed by Breena, the Demagogue. The primary plan is to make attacking you expensive or impossible while encouraging opponents to attack each other, triggering Breena to grow your own board with +1/+1 counters and refill your hand. The deck wins through combat inevitability rather than combos: Breena, the Demagogue and Shadrix Silverquill become evasive beaters, Duelist's Heritage doubles their damage, and Inkshield or Felisa, Fang of Silverquill converts incoming aggression or board wipes into a flying token army. It also leans on the monarch mechanics of Palace Jailer, Court of Locthwain, and Marchesa's Decree to generate sustained card advantage.
