Agni Kai

Format: Commander

Commander: Ozai, the Phoenix King

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The deck is a Rakdos firebending curve deck whose entire plan is to use Ozai, the Phoenix King as a mobile red-mana battery. With Ozai out, every unspent red mana stays in the pool instead of emptying, letting the deck bank attack triggers from firebending creatures and invest them in huge X spells. Secondary paths include commander damage via Avatar Roku pumps and a small sacrifice/Clue package. The Legend of Roku // Avatar Roku is the closest backup engine, transforming into an Avatar with firebending 4, while The Rise of Sozin // Fire Lord Sozin serves as a board wipe and reanimation surprise. No hidden commander exists; the deck succeeds by keeping Ozai attacking and assembling Doubling Cube or Braid of Fire to convert accumulated red into lethal Comet Storms.
