Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain-tribal deck helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, built around the connive mechanic and discard synergies. Each combat, Doom's trigger makes a Villain connive - drawing a card, discarding one, and growing with +1/+1 counters - while discarding lands pings each opponent for 2. The deck floods the board with Villain tokens (Age of Ultron, Endless Ranks of HYDRA, Ultron, Unlimited, Red Ghost, Intangible Genius) and pumps them with lords like The Squadron Sinister and Patchwork Banner, with Roaming Throne doubling every Villain trigger. It finishes through overwhelming combat damage or the drain of Exsanguinate and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Secondary engines include treasure generation, Plan enchantments, and recursion via The Soul Stone and Rise of the Dark Realms. It's a midrange value deck that out-grinds opponents rather than comboing.
