Deck overview

This is a LOTR Dwarf tribal deck helmed by Cadric, Soul Kindler, whose ability creates a hasty token copy of every nontoken legendary permanent that enters for just {1}. The deck is built entirely around this: nearly every creature is a legendary Dwarf with a powerful ETB or attack trigger, and Cadric doubles them all. The plan is to deploy Cadric, then chain legendary Dwarves to generate Treasures, draw cards, and pump the board, finishing through either Balin, Loremaster's discard-draw-damage ability (compounded by Bifur, Melodic Rider and Cadric tokens) or a massive combat swing with extra combats from Desert Were-Worm and Waves of Aggression. A light Equipment subtheme (Commander's Plate, Orcrist, Goblin-cleaver) supports the beatdown plan. It is a fair, synergistic midrange deck that wins through compounded value rather than infinite combos.
