Deck overview

This deck is a aggressive Selesnya +1/+1 counters deck helmed by Haliya, Ascendant Cadet, combining fast mana acceleration, compounding card draw, and devastating combat multipliers. The game plan opens with 1-drop mana dorks to deploy efficient threats like Shrike Force and Fencing Ace ahead of curve. Once Haliya enters on Turn 4, her ability places counters and converts combat damage into sustained card draw. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into lethal critical onset via game-ending overruns like Triumph of the Hordes, Akroma's Will, and Unnatural Growth, or by triggering the infinite counter combo between Enduring Scalelord and Wildwood Scourge. To ensure its board survives to finish on Turn 6, the deck runs a format-ceiling suite of protection spells, including phased avoidance with Clever Concealment and turn-silencing effects like Grand Abolisher. While reactive interaction against opposing combo lines is minimal, proactive denial from Yasharn, Implacable Earth and resilient recovery keep the deck firmly on schedule.
