Deck overview

This mono-green deck is commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger and operates on a high-velocity Stompy game plan. The primary objective is to curve efficient 1-mana mana elves into undercosted, high-power beaters like Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus. This rapidly satisfies Ghalta's power-based cost reduction, allowing the 12/12 legendary Elder Dinosaur to enter the battlefield as early as Turn 4 for just two green mana. Once Ghalta and supporting creatures are deployed, the deck leverages power-based card advantage engines such as Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise to replenish its hand. Finishing lines utilize overwhelming combat multipliers including Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth to eliminate opponents in rapid succession through trampling combat damage. While vulnerable to timely board wipes and lacking stack interaction, the deck exhibits strong recovery by easily rebuilding power thresholds and recasting Ghalta through tax.
