Deck overview

This is a Rakdos treasure-and-damage engine built around Smaug the Impenetrable, an indestructible, hasty 8/7 flier that mints Treasure tokens equal to any noncombat damage it takes. The deck pings, wipes, and redirects damage into Smaug to explode into mana, then converts that mana into Dragon beatdown, artifact-count win conditions, or a locked infinite drain. Primary wins are the Pyrohemia + Smaug loop, amplified combat via Pain for All / Wrathful Red Dragon / Desert Were-Worm, and pure artifact inevitability off Hellkite Tyrant or Knuckles the Echidna. Support pieces like Xorn, Academy Manufactor, and Goldspan Dragon multiply every Treasure event, while a dense suite of cheap burn both fuels the commander and clears blockers. The deck plays as a mid-game value engine that suddenly detonates once Smaug is online and a damage source connects.
